Conference Dates: August 9-10, 2017 Abstract Deadline: July 15, 2017 Location: Dodge City Community College - Dodge City, Kansas

The 19th Annual High Plains Conference, sponsored by the High Plains Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association, will be held August 9-10 at Dodge City Community College located in Dodge City, Kansas. The call for papers will be sent soon, but you can expect a conference which will feature daytime oral presentations and invited speakers. Oral and poster presentations are solicited on all topics related to weather that affects the Central and High Plains regions of the United States. Presentations on decision support services, weather-related sociology, and the use of Geographic Information Systems and social media are also welcomed.

The conference banquet will be held at the Boot Hill Casino Conference Center in Dodge City during the evening of August 9. The banquet fee this year will be $25.
